Results of 2023 Colouring Competition

27 May 2023 | Uncategorized

Once again, a big ‘Thank You’ to all who entered this year’s  Colouring Competition. As with last year we were overwhelmed with entries, 144 this year, which arrived from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern and Southern Ireland! Choosing the winners was again a very difficult task.

It was obvious that  much thought had gone into the colouring – picking out  the different scenes and backgrounds which made up the overall picture of David Livingstone’s time in Africa.  We were just sorry we couldn’t award more prizes!!

The winning pictures will be displayed at the Centre when we open on Saturday 8th July. On that day we also hold our popular Second Hand Book-sale. We will be open from 10.30am until 4pm and there will also be a small display centred on the Life and Work of David Livingstone, and of course, opportunity to look at the main exhibition and time for refreshments!

The  prizes have already been dispatched to the winners!
