Latest News – November 2020

Due to the continuing COVID Pandemic, our openings have had to be somewhat curtailed. We are sorry not to be opening for our Secondhand BookSale in December, but our priority is to ensure the safety of visitors and volunteers at this time.

We give thanks that we have had opportunity and been given the energy during the lockdowns to carry out some much needed painting and organisation at the Centre.

But we hope, God-willing, to be open once again in 2021, as soon as it is safe to do so, and Government Guidelines permit.

Sadly we will be cancelling the Spring Lectures in February, as social distancing will still be necessary and space will not permit a large group to meet together. But we hope to open the Exhibition on that day, Saturday 27th February, from 1.30pm to 4pm, and again on 13th March.

On Easter Saturday (3rd April), we plan to be open all day, from 11am to 4pm, and then, two weeks later, from Thursday 15th to Saturday 17th April we are proposing to hold our Secondhand BookSale over the three days. (Times to be decided)

We do hope you will plan to visit us sometime during next year, and we will keep the website updated as to dates and times of opening. Needless to say, you will be given a warm welcome, and we are always pleased to make special arrangements to open for groups, or those visiting from a distance!
