Results of the Art Competition 2020

8 Sep 2020 | Uncategorized

Those taking part in the Art Competition this year were asked to submit an entry entitled ‘The Sailing of the Mayflower’.

We had a good number of entries, all of a remarkably high standard, and using a wide range of different mediums. Some of those taking part have said how much they enjoyed researching the subject and learning more about the Pilgrim Fathers.

Thank you to all who took part this year. Choosing winners from the entries was extremely difficult and in two of the age groups we felt we just had to choose more than one winner!

The winners, whose work will be on display at the Centre later this month, and who will shortly be receiving a small prize through the post are:

Abigail Benjamin (Age 3-4 Years)

Tabitha McGovern (Age 5-7 Years)

Sarah-Grace Finch, Steffan Lim & Esther Benjamin (Age 8-11)

James Davies and Faith Lim (Age 12+)

We do hope you will all take part in next year’s Competition. The subject and details should appear on the website in the Spring of 2021!
